It's been a very long time since I started a new blog, but I decided that the time was right to do it.
If you've been following my Internet history since I started back in 2005, you've probably noticed that I have an interest in retail and malls.
When I was little, I learned from my parents that there used to be an ice rink at Carolina Circle Mall. One day I was eating lunch at the Carolina Circle Food Court. I glanced over at the Carousel and began looking for any scuff marks from the old ice rink.
I've also been to several Woolworth over the years. I even occasionally went to the one at Friendly Shopping Center and I witnessed its demolition.
My new blog will be a lot like Lost Retail City in that it'll mostly revolve around stores and other establishments that are no longer with us. But it will cover much more including current stores and malls.
I will soon begin to transfer the posts and comments at Lost Retail City over to the new blog so hang in there. I will also delete Lost Retail City as well.

Photo Album Update
As you all know, the photo album hosting for the Roadgeek BlogRing is done by Yahoo! Photos. Well, I've got some sad news for you tonight.
Starting in I think June, Yahoo! will no longer offer the Photo service. This makes me rather upset because I think they did a pretty good job.
I've tried Flickr, and discovered that their free service can only support 3 albums. Way too little for me!
However, I came across Webshots. Like Flickr, they have free and premium services, but the free has everything I need.
Gradually, the photo albums linked from my blogs will be switched to Webshots. During this time, some will be Webshots and some will remain Yahoo! Photos until Yahoo! Photos becomes another Carolina Circle.
My albums can be accessed here.

Flashback City
The Roadgeek BlogRing has obtained a new blog called Flashback City.
At Flashback City, you can watch old commercials, look at old pictures, and more. Travel back to the 20th Century without the use of a Flux Capacitor or a Life Rewind Button.
I have always enjoyed vintage advertising and items that are very hard to find nowadays. I even have a vintage toy collection. I would like to share some of these items and more with you at my new blog.

Welcome
In everyone's modern lifetime, it is time to take the big step by creating a second blog. The Internet is a big place that sometime's is unable to quench your studies. That's where Road City came from. But with my growing interest in the great Carolina Circle Mall, I figured I should make a "Spur Route" from Road City about Carolina Circle Mall.
Carolina Circle Mall to me was one of the greatest mall's ever and in my opinion, I'd rather go to Carolina Circle than going to the Mall of America. Go to your Camp Snoopy, I take my mall shopping in a more simple and laid back style. My Camp Snoopy is riding the carousel.
