In October of 2006, I posted a video on YouTube called Carolina Circle Mall: Memories for a Lifetime.
I believe it's time to make a sequal to that video, seeing that I've got new pictures and some pictures in the existing video have been enhanced.
What I need are some ideas. Feel free to tell me what you would like to see. Remember, YouTube is notorious for deleting videos with copyrighted content.

Store Question
I was doing some research on the Internet and came across several articles from the early '90s about a store called "Starship Music & Video".
My question is what was that store? From what I've heard, it was located on the second floor and mainly specialized in used items. Apparently, I bought a used video tape there sometime in the mid '90s.

Carolina Circle Mall on Wikipedia
Carolina Circle City reader Jake Nelson created a Carolina Circle Mall article on Wikipedia yesterday. Thank you.
Unfortunately, Wikipedia has had many Carolina Circle articles over the years, only to be deleted for the following reason: "No body cares about an old defunct mall". Yet, there are many other dead mall articles on Wikipedia.
We need to work together to make this a very complex article that would avoid deletion. Jake started it, we can expand it. Unfortunately, I don't know very much about how to edit Wikipedia articles, so I'm recuriting a little help.

Greensboro Visitor's Guide Wanted
Back in 4th grade (1999-2000), I had to do some project. My teacher had laid out various pamphlets including a Greensboro Visitor's Guide from either the late '80s or early '90s.
I picked it up and in it had a picture of Carolina Circle Mall's carousel and the mall was advertised as "Newly Renovated". Unfortunately at age 9 or 10, I didn't the interest I have in the mall today, so I just sat the pamphlet down and forgot about it.
Right now, I am looking for that visitor's guide. If anyone happens to have a copy and is willing to scan or send it to me, please do.

Question
Alright, this is a question that has been causing no end of trouble to me that I need answered.
Could someone please tell me what year they got rid of the carousel. I'm thinking it's a tossup between 1996 or 1997.

Help Wanted
Before I go to bed, I just want to let all of you know that I'm still working on the Biography of Carolina Circle Mall. This July, it'll be two years since I started it. Hey, this takes time folks!
Anyway, I'm going to squeeze a chapter in containing people's memories of the mall ala the Remembering Carolina Circle Mall section of this blog. If anyone would like their memories to be in my book, just let me know.
I'm mainly doing this for school, but who knows if this book could go farther.

Newspaper Article Needed
I'd like to ask you all a favor.
Does anyone have a copy of the Greensboro News & Record article "The Rise and Fall of Carolina Circle Mall" from July 28, 1996? That article has vital information/pictures that do not come out well enough on library microfilm. Thanks.

Need Some Help
Does anyone know how I can get in touch with the guy who ran the old Post-Apocalyptic Mall of Doom website? I'm in need of some of those pictures that used to be there.

Sending Out a Help Call
Carolina Circle City recently got a new slogan, "From Ice Rinks to Carousels to Wal-Marts". But I'm in the mood for something a little better and I need your help.
I want the slogan to reflect the entire history of the mall. Not just the ice rink, not just the carousel, not just the Wal-Mart, but everything. Thanks.

Wanted
I doubt anyone has any of these, but I'm looking for some pictures. I don't care if the mall is closed or not.
1. Interior pictures of Montgomery Ward
2. Nice picture of the big Carolina Circle Mall sign at the intersection of Cone Blvd & Sands without the Pyramids banner.
3. Interior pictures of Belk.
4. Picture of a mall directory.
Thanks.
