I minor update to share with you concering IHOP.
The IHOP they're building is one of the new businesses I'm looking forward to the most. And when I rode by there this afternoon, the lights were on inside, so obviously, it now has electricity.
It looks like all that needs to be done now is paint the parking lot. My estimated opening day is sometime within the next couple of weeks.

Pyramids Update: 3/18/2007
A few updates I'd like to share with you.
The first small store at the new shops is now open and is called "Dot's Fashions". A linen store now has a coming soon sign up outside of its store.
The IHOP I've been excited about looks like it's almost ready. I think it's still got some interior work to be done.
And finally, a new seafood restaurant is going to open up down there. Unfortunately, I do not remember its name.

Pyramids Update: 12/31/2006
I went out to what I like to call "New Carolina Circle Mall" this past Friday and took some pictures of the latest construction for your enjoyment.
We actually got in trouble for being there. We pulled into the construction zone and I took most of these pictures. Unfortunately, a construction worker came up to the car and asked us to leave. I was sort of embarrased. A little ironic too.
I also took a picture of an outparcel under construction. It's located in the same area where that huge Carolina Circle Mall sign once stood. I think that might be the new IHOP.

Pyramids Update: 11/26/2006
I just wanted to let you all know that in the past several weeks, construction crews have been putting up the framework for the first shopping center building.
The new Spline Road is currently being extended from its current terminus at the Wal-Mart to the former mall exit at 16th Street across from the go-cart track.
This is really getting me excited. I might head out there in the near future to take some pictures of the construction.

Pyramids Update: 8/24/06
I have decided to change the name of the Wal-Mart Updated to the Pyramids Update since the Wal-Mart is already open. We will now focus on the construction of the rest of the center.
So far, nothing much is going on. There is a little bit of excavating around the Wal-Mart, but that's about it.
If anything develops, you'll hear it first at Carolina Circle City.
