Some New Emblem Variations

For the past several months, I've been designing some variations of the Carousel Era emblem. I'd do the Ice Rink Era emblem, but I don't have a good copy of it to use.

And just for kicks, this emblem variation is based off the late '80s picture of the mall's main entrance from a February 2, 2005 post over at steve's blog.

Interstate 40 Meets Carolina Circle Mall

This is rather pointless, but I thought I'd share this.

With some phopshopping, I was able to modify Carolina Circle Mall's emblem and make it look like Interstate 40 with the same Interstate shield colors.

Full Reproduced Emblem

After quite a lot of searching, I finally found Carolina Circle Mall's font. It happens to be titled "University Roman".

Now that I've found the font, I have created a reproduction of Carolina Circle's full title including emblem and name. Although it's probably not exactly to scale, I think it's pretty close.

Guide to Lower Carolina Circle Mall (Draft)

I worked on this map of Carolina Circle Mall's lower level yesterday.

This is obviously not the final draft. I have plans to make it more colorful and add some nice eye-candy as soon as I draw the first draft of the second level. For now, enjoy this sample.

Mall Art: Blue Mirrored Column

My artistic rendition of those blue mirrored columns that where all over the mall. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it look tiled like the originals.

Mall Art: Standard Wall+

Same as the standard wall, but this includes the mall's name.

Mall Art: Standard Wall

This is my artistic rendetion of an average wall at Carolina Circle Mall. This was created via Microsoft Paint.
More to come, hopefully.
