Current Event Disco
In the 1970's, disco ruled. Everyone was boogie-oogie-oogying and getting down.
Because Carolina Circle Mall opened in 1976 when disco was big, the mall needed to be hip. So in the late '70s, there was a disco in the mall located near Montgomery Ward called "The Current Event".
Today, David Gwyne emailed me that picture of the disco. That is definately the '70s. Thanks David!
