Year Division

I thought I'd divide up the years of Carolina Circle Mall's life. See what you think.

Vintage Carolina Circle (1976-1986): Otherwise known as "The Ice Rink Era", the mall was sported in its darker and simpler format with the ice rink as the center attraction.

Renovation Carolina Circle (1986-1988): This is the time in between the ice rink and carousel era in which the mall was under heavy renovation.

Classic Carolina Circle (1988-1995): Otherwise known as "The Carousel Era", the mall was sported in its bright and colorful format with the carousel as the center attraction. In 1995, the mall had reached its peak. This era is my all time favorite.

Wanning Years (1996-1998): This is the time the mall really started to decline. Around 1996 and 1997, the carousel was removed which alerted me of demise.

Closing Years (1999-2002): This is the time when the mall was first put up for sale.

Closed Years (2002-2005): This is the time in which the mall was left abandoned. Age and vandallisim ensued.

Inbetween Years (2005-2006): This is the time in which the mall was torn down and Wal-Mart was under construction.

Pyramids Village Years (2006-Present): The current era in which Wal-Mart is open.

Have any thoughts? Feel free to let me know.
