For awhile, I've been asking myself "What If". What if sometime between 1976 and 2002, an event occured that would have kept the mall open in 2005? But what would the mall be like? Let's find out.
1. Obviously, Montgomery Ward would be gone. Some off the wall department store would have probably taken over the empty space.
2. There would have been another renovation. Unfortunately, green/pink with tin-can light fixtures are out of style. The renovation might have ended up making the mall look like Four Seasons.
3. Some modern 2000's features would have been added. Wi-Fi at the food court, a cell phone store or two, a DellDirect kiosk, and Camelot Music would become FYE. The carousel would have probably stayed, but would have a facelift of some sort.
That's all I can think of. Fill free to add to the list.

Montgomery Ward would have probably been replaced by Wal-Mart, Burlington Coat Factor yor Target. The renovation probably would have been brown and beige with those lights that look like milk-glass cereaal bowls like every other mall out there, and there definately would have been a Dell kiosk. I'd like to think the carousel would have still been there, and maybe a new movie theater with stadium seating to replace both the Circle 6 and Piccadilly.
