It did. Stuart's was my Mom's favorite store at Crabtree in the early 1990s. And I remember the Everything's a Dollar store at Cary Towne Center. Did the one at CC have pink neon all over?

Yes, it does!! I remember East West Gifts. They had an awesome ivory chess set. While I admired, told friends about it, and would frequent East West Gifts just to look at it; I could not on principal, purchase the chess set because of the ivory (elephants,you know?). Anyway, I spent many weekends at the Carolina Circle Mall and was sorry to see it decline. Also, as an American of African descent, I was even more saddened that the community around the mall did not respect or support it.
