Interior Design

As seen in the above picture from 1989, the mall had a very interesting interior design during the Carousel Era.

The two main colors were lime green and pink. You can see a lot of green in that picture. The flooring was white tiles.

The lighting fixtures were also interesting. It looks like someone took some cans of Chef Boyardee and put lights in them.

The columns were made of mirrors that had 3 strings of blue lights ontop of them. This was conveinent because you could walk through the mall and be able to easily comb your hair anywhere.

Another main feature was the big butterflies that were hung up. Some were pink and some were blue. They were pretty cool.

There was an interesting water fountain outside of Dillard's. I've heard people say that there was a bridge there. Surprisingly, I don't remember that bridge.

During both the ice rink and carousel era's, there was this huge skylight that was about 5 stories that overlooked the ice rink/carousel. That was pretty cool too.

I remember the mall the best in this configuration.
