After quite a lot of searching, I finally found Carolina Circle Mall's font. It happens to be titled "University Roman".
Now that I've found the font, I have created a reproduction of Carolina Circle's full title including emblem and name. Although it's probably not exactly to scale, I think it's pretty close.

I think all the words in the name had larger first letters, but it's very, very good from scratch.
